The cast of Sex and the City: The Movie have clashed over their choice of outfits and, according to reports, will arrive at the American premiere of the film in separate limos.
A source close to the cast told the Mirror: "There is huge rivalry about who is wearing what. It's insane. And the film's stylist Patricia Field is stuck in the middle because everyone keeps secretly asking her who is wearing what. They are determined not to be outdone by each other."
So intense is the rivalry between the four women – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon – reported to be, plans for them to attend the premiere in a white stretch limo have had to be revised.
"They have demanded that they have their own individual cars so each star can have their own five minutes on the carpet with all eyes on them, rather than SJP getting all the attention. It's turning into a logistical nightmare."
The film is scheduled for release on 30 May.
