Angelina Jolie was rushed to hospital after she injured herself on set of her new film Salt.
The Oscar winning actress was filming a stunt sequence for spy thriller Salt when she injured herself. She was then taken to a New York hospital for unspecified minor injuries.
"As a precautionary measure she was taken to the hospital and examined," said a spokesperson for the movie.
Jolie is back filming on the action film, which was originally expected to star Tom Cruise. After he passed on the project, the part was re-written for Jolie.
Salt is directed by Philip Noyce, and will be released next year.
