Images of Johnny Depp have been censored by the Chinese government.
Beijing have ordered that all personal computers sold from July 1st be fitted with Green Dam - a software installation package that is designed to block pornographic and violent images.
However, once installed even safe images such as Johnny Depp, Garfield and premiere pictures of Paris Hilton are blurred out.
It's believed that the software works by targeting a large amount of naked flesh and blurring out the presumed obscene image - when in actual fact it could just be a large close up of someone's face - as in Depp's example.
Critics of the software package claim that its use is to censor political and social activities not approved by the government.
