National Treasure: Book of Secrets continues to wow cinema-goers after it topped the US box office for the second week.
The Nicolas Cage action flick, the sequel to the 2004 original, took $35.6 million compared to second-placed Alvin and the Chipmunks, which took $30 million. National Treasure: Book of Secrets has now taken $62 million in total.
I Am Legend, which stars Will Smith, came in third place, Charlie Wilson's Ward stayed in fourth spot, while offbeat comedy Juno moved from tenth to fifth despite being shown in far fewer cinemas.
Elsewhere, there were new entries for Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (sixth) and The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep (seventh).
