Nivola gets one in "The Eye"

Alessandro Nivola, who'll soon be seen back on our screens in footy sequel "Goal II!", has landed a role opposite Jessica Alba in the "The Eye" - directors David Moreau and Xavier Palud's remake of the Pang brothers terrifying Thai 2002 horror. And he's not the only new name to join the project - Parker Posey of "Superman Returns" has also signed up.

The original movie follows a woman, the recipient of a cornea transplant, who sees distressing images in the mirror and sets out to find out what happened to the eye's original owner.
