Morgan Freeman, who can currently be seen in rom-com Feast of Love, has signed to star in crime caper flick The Code.
Freeman will play an experienced thief who employs a younger recruit (Antonio Banderas), to assist him on one final job which he needs to pull of in order to repay Russian gangsters.
The film's scheduled to begin shooting mid-October in Bulgaria, Daily Variety reports. The in demand Oscar winner has just completed work on Wanted alongside Angelina Jolie and Common as well as Rob Reiner's The Bucket List, in which he and Jack Nicholson play two terminally ill men who escape from a cancer ward and go on a road trip.
He's also reprising his role as Lucius Fox in The Dark Knight. As if that wasn't enough Freeman's also got The Human Factor, Rendezvous with Rama and The Last Full Measure in the pipeline.
