John Cusack takes a job at "The Factory"

John Cusack is set to tip his toe back in the horror waters after his good work in "1408" with "The Factory", a psychological thriller for Dark Castle to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

"The Factory" has proven to be an inspirational story, at least for co-author Morgan O'Neill, a winner of the Australian 'Project Greenlight' - a reality TV show awarding filmmakers for their original ideas. O'Neill co-wrote the script and is set to direct the feature, which will be produced by Joel Silver no less.

Cusack will play a desperate and relentless cop who, with his partner, tracks a serial killer prowling the streets of Buffalo, N.Y. When his teenage daughter disappears, the cop drops any shred of restraint and goes all out to get the killer.
