Here is a treat for Wolverine fans sharpening their claws in anticipation of their hero's first stand alone movie - the official poster has been unveiled.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's mysterious beginnings (could you guess that from the title?).
While familiar characters such as Sabretooth, who was seen in X-Men, and X2's William Stryker will reappear, they will be played in younger guises - by Liev Schreiber and Danny Huston respectively.
The film also stars Will. i. am, Dominic Monaghan and Ryan Reynolds. It sees Wolverine seeks revenge against Sabretooth for killing his girlfriend, as well as exploring his ties with the mysterious Weapon X program.
It is written by David Benioff, directed by Tsotsi's Gavin Hood and will be released on May 1.
