Morton playing Myra on TV

Samantha Morton (Minority Report) and Andy Serkis (King Kong) are in line to play the moors murderers, the most notorious killer couple in 20th century Britain.

The duo will play Myra Hindley and Ian Brady in the controversial Channel 4 drama Longford, named after the reforming lord who sought Hindley's release.

Channel 4 boss Kevin Lygo told the Daily Mirror: "We don't go into the goriness and the hideous crimes. It's about Hindley and Longford, and his Catholic obsession for forgiveness and whether it's possible or appropriate."
