The stars of The Sopranos are missing the show so much they have pleaded with the series' creator to make a big screen version of the mob drama.

The hugely popular show ended last year, but it's long been rumoured that creator David Chase wants to continue the adventures of Tony Soprano and his family as a film. And it seems the show's actors are keen on the idea as well.

Lorraine Bracco, who plays psychologist Jennifer Melfi in the hit show, spoke about a return at the recent launch of her new wine. She said, "I would love it. I'm up for it. Call me."

Dominic Chianese, who plays ageing mobster Uncle Junior, added, "I'd be game. Uncle Junior could jump out of his wheelchair."

However, Michael Imperioli, who plays gangster Christopher in the show, doubts it will ever happen, saying, "I think we're done. I think we had our day, unless David Chase comes up with something great."

Then again, he was killed in the last series so it's unlikely to make much difference to him.
