Eric Dane, star of the hit series "Grey's Anatomy", will be taking up support duties on the forthcoming comedy, "Marley & Me". Dane will star alongside Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and Alan Arkin in the adaptation of John Grogan's bestselling memoir.
"Marley & Me" will see Wilson play an ambitious reporter who up-sticks to Miami to satisfy his wife, played by Aniston. Dane is set to play the journalist's best friend, on hand for a spot of comic relief, and suggests that Wilson may be better served by adopting a puppy as a substitute for the children his wife craves. The titular 'Marley' soon grows from an adorable puppy into a slathering beast and veritable home-wrecker.
The film will be shot on location in Miami later this month.
