'Twilight' stars to miss UK premiere

Bad news for 'Twilight' fans hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars at the UK premiere of 'Eclipse' – Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner won't be attending.

The three main stars of the hugely popular series are unable to attend the premiere, and will instead record a special video message for fans who attend the event on July 1 at London's Leicester Square.

The film's bosses released a statement, saying, “Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will not be far away with specially recorded video messages for their UK fans."

Pattinson is unable to attend due to work commitments on new film 'Water for Elephants'. No reasons have been given yet on Stewart and Lautner's no-show.

'Eclipse' cast members Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene will attend instead
