The small Australian town that Nicole Kidman has credited for making her pregnant has been besieged by calls from desperate would-be mothers.
The Oscar-winning actress regularly swam in Kununurra's lakes while she filmed WWII epic Australia. And she believes that she and six other women who worked on the movie fell pregnant because of the mystical water - something the region's Aborigines firmly believe in.
Kidman, who gave birth to Sunday Rose as a result, said, "There is something in the Kununurra water."
However, the town's officials are being plagued by calls from women pleading to be sent the water.
A tourism official said, "We try to dissuade these women from being sent the water because of the difficulties of collecting and transporting it.
"We encourage them to come here for a swim if that's what they want."
