Spoof film Disaster Movie, starring Carmen Electra and socialite Kim Kardashian has been voted as the worst film of all time by IMDB users.
The film averaged 1.2 out of a possible 10 on the movie website, a rating which quickly sent it crashing to the bottom of all time rankings.
Disaster Movie film makers Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, who were previously responsible for similar post-Scary Movie spoofs Epic Movie, Date Movie and Meet the Spartans, can perhaps take comfort in the fact that people respond most actively to current films. The Dark Knight, for example, was voted best movie of all time, which might be questioned by fans of Citizen Kane, The Godfather and other non-superhero classics.
Kardashian previously described the film, saying: "Basically, it's about a group of friends trying to get out of New York city because all these natural disasters are happening. Along the way, we spoof everything.
"All of the superhero movies – Iron Man, Batman and The Hulk — Sex and the City, Amy Winehouse, Miley Cyrus, the Jonas brothers, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo.... We do everything. Indiana Jones, High School Musical...."
Yes but obviously, in most people's opinion, not very well.
