The triumvirate of Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale and David Hasselhoff obviously appeals to British movie fans - their new comedy "Click" has shot straight to the top of the UK box office chart, earning just under £1.8 million in the process. It just pipped new alternative fairy tale "Hoodwinked" which opened in second, while Oliver Stone's 9/11 drama "World Trade Center" made it a trio of new entries in the Top 3, taking third spot.

Last week's No. 1, futuristic thriller "Children Of Men", slid down the chart into fourth while Stephen Frears' regal drama "The Queen" fell to fifth, despite suffering just a 12% drop off in week-on-week ticket sales.
