Samuel L Jackson has been named the sorest Oscar loser since 1990, according to an online poll.
Jackson – who was nominated as Best Supporting Actor for his role in Pulp Fiction in 1994 – clearly uttered the word "s***", earning him top spot in the list compiled by GoldDerby.com.
Second place went to Lost In Translation star Bill Murray, who lost out to Sean Penn in 2003 and was so obviously disappointed that host Billy Crystal asked the audience to give him a special round of applause by way of consolation.
Others on the list include Denzel Washington (1999) and Geoffrey Rush (2000).
