Two Hollywood powerhouses are to star alongside each other its been confirmed that George Clooney is to team up with Robert De Niro in "36", director Marc Forster's ("Finding Neverland") remake of the French cop thriller "36 Quai des Orfevres".
The original, which hit French screens back in 2004, starred Gerard Depardieu and Daniel Auteuil as two rival Parisian detectives who are both investigating a series of audacious armoured car robberies in the city. And with a promotion promised to whoever solves the case, the rivalry is tense.
Dean Georgaris ("The Manchurian Candidate") has scripted the movie, which is due to begin filming in New York later this year.
