Gwyneth Paltrow says that she and husband Chris Martin refuse to be a "public couple" and they won't be seen walking arm in arm along any red carpets.
The actress and singer have been married six years and clearly avoid being photographed together. One rare moment occurred when Paltrow was ill and had to be taken to hospital by the Coldplay man who had a nasty altercation with a paparazzo, proving that he certainly takes their non-public status very seriously.
"It doesn’t behove us to be a public couple. He certainly doesn’t want to be that. So it’s just better if we don’t," Paltrow told Elle. "We’ve never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will. If people think that that means we’re not together, then... so be it."
