No Friends allowed at Fat Boy premiere

David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg caused a stir in London's Leicester Square on Monday night at the World Premiere of new comedy Run, Fat Boy, Run.

But former Friends star Schwimmer (pic), who directed the Brit flick, was eager to put his sitcom past behind him to concentrate on his new film-making career, denying there'll ever be a Friends reunion.

"If I was asked to do it, I'd say 'No'. It was ten years ago, and it's time to move on," Schwimmer told reporters. "There is no reunion, we are not getting back together."

But with Run, Fat Boy, Run set to be a massive hit, it doesn't look like Schwimmer will need a reunion.

On filming in London, Schwimmer said: "Everyone was really warm and the crew here was fantastic. I had an all-English crew, my cinematographer, my editor, everyone, and everyone was terrific. The weather wasn’t so great and, because we were on a very modest budget, every day counted, but we really lucked out."

And as for his lead actor, Schwimmer was clearly impressed adding: “And I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Simon again."

Run, Fat Boy, Run opens in cinemas across the UK from September 8.
