Scream writer Kevin Williamson has confirmed that there will another trilogy.
The screenwriter of the first two films (he provided the story idea for the third) is penning the new trilogy and has revealed some new details about the film.
He said, "It'll take place right now, 10 years later, and it's going to take place in Woodsboro (the setting of the first film).
"We'll have our three main characters, and we'll be introducing several more. We'll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That'll take us through the next three."
Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are returning for Scream 4.
