Tom is Keane to be seen as exciting

They may be known as the most boring act in the music industry but Keane are doing everything they can to shake off that image.

The band's frontman Tom Chaplin (left) is annoyed that Keane has been labelled "wet" and "insipid" - insisting there is nothing wet about baring his soul onstage.

He said: "We are willing to expose all our deep darkest secrets and put them on record. I don't know how that can be seen as wimpish."
