Star Trek's Chris Pine is to beam up alongside Denzel Washington in the thriller Unstoppable.
The young actor has been besieged with offers following his stand out turn in Star Trek. And he is setting his sights next on the Tony Scott directed thriller, which sees a train engineer (Washington) being replaced by a young upstart (Pine).
The pair have to reluctantly work together when they find themselves in a race against time on an unmanned train that is carrying enough gas to kill an entire city.
It will mark the fifth time Washington and Scott have teamed up. They had previously worked together on Crimson Tide, Man On Fire, Deja Vu and the forthcoming The Taking of Pelham 123.
