Sir. Ben Kingsley takes a trip to the 'Island'

Sir. Ben Kingsley (currently seen in dark comedy "You Kill Me" as well as swords and sandals epic "Last Legion") has signed on to co-star in Martin Scorsese's next production - the period thriller "Shutter Island" for Paramount Pictures.

Leonardo DiCaprio has already agreed to star as a U.S. Marshall who is sent to the remote New England island in the summer of 1954 to investigate a missing persons case involving a patient from the island's mental institution.

So with the likes of DiCaprio on board, and Sir. Ben agreeing to take part, the cast is certainly shaping up nicely what with Mark Ruffalo already on board. Sir. Ben will play the mental hospital's chief physician.
