Could this be the end of Bryan Singer's stint in charge of the Man of Steel? In a bizarre, and rather evasive, interview with UGO, Singer ("Usual Suspects", "X2") commented that he's not actually involved in the on-going talks with Warner Bros. about "Superman Returns 2".
UGO: "There is talk of a new film. Are you officially involved in this talk of the new film?"
SINGER: "I am not officially involved in the talk, no...I have relationships with Warner Brothers and with the character and, it's just the way things work out."
'Just the way things work out'? Singer has an air of a man deflated and all but defeated in his efforts to realise his "Superman" sequel. However Singer did sign off by saying that he's not completely divorced from the property and refuses to turn his back on the Son of Krypton just yet.
