Tobey to hang up his Spidey suit

Bad news Spidey fans - it looks like Tobey Maguire is hanging up his webshooters. This May sees Maguire return to the big screen for his third adventure as the iconic comic book hero - but Tobey's told The Courier-Mail that "Spider-Man 3" will probably be his last outing in the stylish red and blue outfit.

"To me it seems like this is a natural point for the team to break up because we have a lot of story conclusions that were going along for the main characters for the first two movies and we kind of tie almost everything up for the third movie," he said, adding "It feels like a trilogy to me and it feels like the end."

"Spider-Man 3" opens here on May 4th.
