Halle Berry has performed a U-turn following the huge success of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The actress, who played weather changing mutant Storm in three blockbuster X-Men movies, ruled out appearing in a spin-off film.
Speaking in 2006 to promote X-Men: The Last Stand, she said, "Storm won't be spinning off. I have no real desire to do that. It's the group of all of them together and that is what has made the series so successful. What I love about the X-Men is the X-Men."
However, the actress seems to have had a change of heart. She told reporters at the premiere of the Wolverine spin-off movie," I think Storm deserves her own movie. I think that would be great. If I could still fit in the suit!"
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which once again sees Hugh Jackman play the superhero, took over $85 million at the US box office in its opening weekend.
