Film legend Dustin Hoffman might be getting on a bit, but his age clearly has no impact on his passion for work.
The Oscar winner has announced he'll not only star in a new film Personal Injuries, but will also co-write the screenplay and produce the film.
Based on a novel by Scott Turow, which Hoffman optioned himself, Personal Injuries is the story of a personal-injury lawyer who is embroiled in legal corruption. A Turow thriller has previously been brought to the screen with 1990's Presumed Innocent starring Harrison Ford as a lawyer investigated for murder.
A release date of summer 2008 has been pencilled in, although the script is still unfinished. No director or co-stars have been attached to the project yet.
