Aniston is to go to jail

Jennifer Aniston is to head behind bars for new movie Goree Girls.

The Friends actress will star in the true story about eight women who formed a band during their time in jail in the 1940s. They eventually became so popular that they were pardoned for their crimes.

Director Michael Sucsy called it a survivor story "about people whose human spirit doesn't give up".

"There is something about music that invigorates the spirit to keep going, even when you don't have freedom."

Filming will begin in January next year.
