Thousands of wannabe Sex and the City stars turned up for an open audition to appear in the new movie.
Around 5,000 people turned up at the auditions in New York City on Tuesday in a bid to play an extra in the Sex and the City sequel. Producers were looking for "models, celebrity types, upscale socialites, gays and lesbians, international types and professional soccer players" to appear in the follow up to last year's blockbuster smash.
Queues began gathering the night before the auditions, with many dressed up as the girls from the hit series.
One of the hopefuls, 19-year-old Amanda Rivera, said, "I don't mind waiting, because I'm a huge fan of the show and the movie."
The lucky ones who will get the chance to star in the film will be told via email.
