McAvoy feared Keira sex scenes

He may have got the chance to get intimate with one of the most gorgeous women of the moment but actor James McAvoy dreaded filming his steamy sex scene with Keira Knightley in new movie Atonement.

The Last King Of Scotland star was terrified she would ridicule him over the size of his manhood during their steamy library scene in the big screen adaptation of Ian McEwan's novel.

He says: "I had that horrible moment when I thought, ‘Oh, for f**k sakes, I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to feel like this, we’ve not even talked much and she’s going to think I’ve got a small penis."

And what must have made it even more excruciating for McAvoy was the fact that the scene took so long to shoot because of Keira's flimsy outfit.

James, 28, said: "It ripped easily and we got through about 20 of them."
