Ludacris joins "Fred Claus"

Rapper turned actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges ("Crash") has joined the cast upcoming festive comedy "Fred Claus", says The Hollywood Reporter. The film will see Vince Vaughn play the loser brother of Santa (Paul Giamatti - "Sideways"), who joins his famous sibling at the North Pole. Bridges will play an angry elf in the movie.

David Dobkin ("The Wedding Crashers") is directing while Kevin Spacey, John Michael Higgins ("Fun With Dick And Jane") and Elizabeth Banks ("The 40 Year-Old Virgin") will also all feature.
