Sandler to play Mossad hairdresser

Adam Sandler is reuniting with the writer of his breakthrough film The Wedding Singer for his next project.

The actor has signed up to comedy You Don't Mess With Zohan, which he co-wrote with Jude Apatow, the screenwriter responsible for recent hit The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Sandler will play a deadly Israeli Mossad agent who fakes his death to anonymously move to New York and become ... a hairdresser.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles and New York this summer for release next year.
