Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames will come face to face again in new sci-fi pic The Surrogates, nearly 15 years after they starred together in Pulp Fiction.
In the film, Willis plays a cop (surprise, surprise) living in a futuristic world where humans live entirely through robots (the surrogates of the title) while they act as spectators from home.
He is forced to leave his house for the first time in years in order to investigate the murder of other's surrogates and hunt down Rhames, a charismatic cult figure who leads an uprising against the use of robots and the "new world order" they have created.
The movie, based on a series of comic books written by Robert Vendetti and Brett Weldele, also stars Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, and Ned Vaughn. It is scheduled for release in late 2009.
