Lost star Matthew Fox is delighted he's starring in new family adventure Speed Racer because his kids finally get to see him in action.
The TV hunk refuses to to let his two sons, Kyle, 9, and Byron, 6, watch his famous show as it's too dark. His latest films Vantage Point and Smokin' Aces are also full of violent content.
However, his new film Speed Racer is definitely one for the kids.
He said, "They ask me every single day when the movie's coming out. They can't wait. They have seen the trailer of the film in front of every film they go to see right now. They're both very excited.
"I haven't made anything yet that my kids can see. They don't watch a lot of television, they certainly don't watch Lost, and they haven't been able to see a lot of the other films I've done so far as they have heavy violence in them."
Fox's children aren't the only ones excited about the movie though - the actor, who plays Racer X, admits he is in love with his toy figure from the film.
"Racer X is a very cool dude and he's got a very cool outfit, so as far as action figures go, I'd have to say he is one of the best. They scanned in digitally really intensely, so he comes across well," he added.
Speed Racer is out this Friday.
