Hoffman & Thompson star in wedding romcom

Emma Thompson will play Dustin Hoffman's love interest in a new romantic comedy set in London.

The Graduate legend will play a down-on-his-luck chap who finds love in the unlikely form of Nanny McPhee star Thompson, while attending his daughter's wedding in London. The film is still untitled, and no director has been attached yet.

It's not the first time these two Oscar winners have worked together - only last year they co-starred in comedy Stranger Than Fiction, and clearly hit it off on-set.

Meanwhile, Thompson will next be seen in this summer's highly anticipated blockbuster Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, playing Professor Sybil Trelawne. Hoffman is currently filming fairytale animation The Tale Of Desperaux, while his family fantasy adventure Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium is due out at the end of the year.
