Baby joy for Samantha Morton

Samantha Morton is celebrating after giving birth to a baby girl.

The Minority Report actress gave birth to her unnamed baby daughter on Jan 4 in London. Her publicist Karon Maskill said, "It is fantastic news and both mother and baby are doing brilliantly."

Morton welcomed the baby with her director fiance Harry Holm, who is the son of British actor Sir Ian Holm. The pair met in 2005 and became engaged a year later.

Morton has a seven-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
