Brad Pitt to play He-Man

Brad Pitt has been tipped to take the lead role in a new He-Man film.

The actor is already a hero to his missus Angelina Jolie (not to mention several million female fans), and now Hollywood casting agents want to make him Master of the Universe.

But if Brad wants the role, he'd better get down to the gym first. A source told The Sun: "They are very keen on Brad for the role. He’ll have to bulk up though - he’s very fit but not to He-Man proportions."

It's unlikely the Babel star will sign up though, as these days he can afford to be picky about his roles. Fortunately there is another actor in the running: Gerard Butler, the Scottish star of war epic 300, is probably a safer bet.

Dolph Lundgren previously played the iconic '80s toy in the 1987 film Master Of The Universe.
