Fans of US TV series MacGyver can rejoice - it's the latest 1980s TV show set to get the big screen treatment.
Following on from the planned cinema outings of The A-Team, Magnum PI and The Equalizer, MacGyver is next in line to wow a whole new generation of teenagers.
The show starred Richard Dean Anderson as a quick thinking secret agent who often had to make something special from household items in a bid to get out of a scrape - think of an explosive made out of cornflakes, a stapler and a can of coke. Or something.
The show's creator Lee David Ziotoff still holds the rights to the series (which is rare nowadays) and he said recently that the movie adaptation is in the works. The show was produced by Henry Winkler, aka The Fonz from Happy Days.
It's not yet known if Anderson will make a cameo in the movie, or who is lined up to play the lead in the movie.
Whoever takes the role, Patty and Selma will, no doubt, be at the front of the queue (Simpsons fans know what we're talking about)!
