Drew Barrymore has split up with her actor boyfriend Justin Long after a year of dating.
The actress' spokesperson told People, "I can confirm the split with no additional comment."
Their split will come as a surprise to many following the pair's recent comments about each other. Long told The Oprah Winfrey Show that Barrymore was "the most compassionate person I've ever met". While she told the March issue of Vogue: "My cheeks hurt, I'm so happy."
Barrymore, 33, and Die Hard 4.0 actor Long, 30, first began dating in August last year.
