Scarlett wants to do horror

As Hollywood's hottest property, Scarlett Johansson has her pick of films.

But the 21-year-old starlet says she wants her next movie to be a Stanley Kubrick-style horror.

Having taken on period drama in her new movie The Black Dahlia, and tackled romance (with a dab of comedy) in breakthrough film Lost In Translation, the actress now has something more scary in her sights.

Speaking at the Venice Film Festival, Scarlett said: "I was watching The Shining the other day and it would be really great to do a film like that. Not that anyone compares to Kubrick in the league of eeriness. But it would be nice to do a dark psychological drama."
