Maggie nabs Katie's Batman part

Maggie Gyllenhaal is set to take over from Katie Holmes in the next Batman movie.

The Secretary star will replace Mrs Tom Cruise as DA Rachel Dawes in Christopher Nolan's sequel to Batman Begins titled The Dark Knight.

The movie which will see Christian Bale and Michael Caine return as Bruce Wayne and Alfred respectively, is also due to star Heath Ledger as The Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent AAKA Two Face.
