Superbad star Michael Cera has revealed that he's keen to make a sequel to the hit 2007 comedy.

Superbad starred Cera and Jonah Hill as two high school friends who embark on a night of drunken madness before they go their separate ways to college.

But Cera doesn't want the characters adventures to end there. He has thought of a perfect idea for a sequel, and is desperate to star in a follow up.

He posted on his Twitter page, "I contacted Jonah. He thought it was a good idea for a Superbad 2. I will let you know what's going on with that in the next few days."

Cera is also being lined up to star in a big screen version of the cult show Arrested Development.
