Brothers Grimm actress Lena Headey will take the lead role in the Warner Brothers TV spin-off of Terminator.
The Brit actress will play Sarah Connor, the character made famous by Linda Hamilton in the first two Terminator films.
Josh Friedman will write the pilot episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles which will be directed by David Nutter whose directing credentials include Band of Brothers, ER and The Sopranos.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is based on the mythology of the Terminator movies and will feature Sarah and her son John Connor battling futuristic attackers following the events of Terminator 2.
