Ben Affleck is to step behind the camera once more on the harrowing true story Arizona Project.
The Good Will Hunting star made a promising directorial debut with Gone Baby Gone recently. And he plans to follow that up with the true story of a slain journalist and the explosive events that followed his death.
Arizona Project tells the story of Don Bolles, a reporter for the Arizona Republic during the '70s. He was investigating New York, Chicago and Detroit gangsters and their ties with political corruption when he was lured to a hotel and killed.
His death inspired over twenty newspapers to lead an unprecedented crusade to finish Bolles' work. Their tireless investigation led some, including an Arizona senator, to accuse them of being nothing more than vigilantes, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
You can see Affleck next in front of the camera when he stars in the forthcoming comedy He's Just Not That Into You.
