Freeman tipped for 'love feast'

Million Dollar Baby star Morgan Freeman is in talks to star in the drama The Feast of Love for Lakeshore Entertainment.

Based on a Charles Baxter novel, the film centers on a community of friends in Oregon. Sometimes described as a reworking of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, it is an exploration of the mysterious and painful aspects of love.

Freeman, who won Best Supporting Actor Oscar for the aforementioned Clint Eastwood movie, will play philosophy professor Harry Scott.

Oscar-winning helmer Robert Benton (Kramer vs Kramer) is directing the film which is scheduled to begin shooting in August.
