Terminator Four, but no Arnie

In the film he famously said: "I'll be back", and it looks like he was right as reports of a fourth Terminator film are buzzing around Hollywood.

But Arnold Schwarzenegger (pic) will not be reprising his role because he's too busy being the Governator - of California.

James Cameron, who directed the first two films, will not be involved either, after franchise rights holders Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna invested in a young company called Halcyon Co.

The film is set to be released in summer 2009 and it is hoped the project will reinvent the series in the same way Casino Royale created a new look Bond.

While precise details of the storyline are a closely guarded secret, it is understood is that Terminator 4 will pick up with the spiritual heir to the rebellion, John Connor, rallying the humans for another strike against the machines.
