Amy Winehouse could be getting steamy with Daniel Craig in the next James Bond film.

The British singer has been offered a role as a Bond girl in the sequel to Casino Royale, according to reports. Her big acting break came about after 007 producer Barbara Broccoli fell in love with Amy's hit album, Back To Black and asked her to join the cast.

A source told Starpulse.com: "She's perfect for the role because she's the embodiment of the retro glamor of the original movies."

And Amy's likely to record the theme tune to the new film, which is due 2008. She told us: "I'd love to do a Bond theme. We've been in contact with the James Bond people and hopefully that'll come off in the future."
