"Lost" star Rebecca Mader is looking to land the plum role of female lead in George Clooney's "Men Who Stare at Goats". With the cast already rounded out with the likes of Ewan McGregor in the lead and Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges lending their considerable talents to the project the way is clear for Mader to complete the set and provide a woman's touch to proceedings.
Produced by Clooney and Grant Heslov (with the latter directing), "Men Who Stare at Goats" will be a direct lift from Jon Ronson's similarly titled book. Set in Iraq "Goats" sees Bob Wilton (McGregor), a desperate reporter looking for a break who stumbles upon the story of a lifetime when he meets Lyn Cassady (Clooney), a 'secret agent' who claims to be a military psychic soldier who was reactivated after 9/11.
Mader will potentially round out the cast and play McGregor's wife in the film.
