Beyonce and Eva get close, very close

Aye curumba! Two of the world's hottest stars Beyonce Knowles and Eva Longoria will soon be seen as lesbian lovers!

The Bootylicious singer and Desperate Housewives cutie will play a saucy couple in a new movie version of period piece Tipping The Velvet, originally a hit drama for the BBC in 2002.

Lost In Translation director Sofia Coppola will shoot the movie based on Sarah Waters novel set in an 1890s music hall.

Longoria told Yahoo: "Yes it's true, we're talking about doing that. It's such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story.

Beyonce added:"We've had Brokeback Mountain so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment."
