Bond finds Solace in US box office record

The latest 007 adventure, "Quantum Of Solace", has become the highest grossing Bond film of all time in North America.

Helmed by Marc Forster, the last outing which saw the secret agent take on global a eco-terrorist in South America shot past $167.1 million last week, surpassing the previous record which was held by "Casino Royale".

Meanwhile "Quantum Of Solace" has taken more than $382 million outside of North America.
